LAMINATED PARTICLE BOARD
All laminated particle boards that are used in our production are correspond to Formaldehyde Emission Standard E1 of GOST 32289-2013. SoftForm cooperate with the European best manufacturers only:
1. EGGER Group Austria (more than 95% of all used boards)
2. JSC "Ivatsevichdrev" Belarus (about 5% of all used boards)
Formaldehyde Standards
There are 2 classes of formaldehyde content standard for particle boards:
1. E1 Ј8 mg/100g (no more 8mg of formaldehyde on 100g of dry mass)
2. E2 > 8 to Ј30 mg/100g (from 8 to 15 mg)
What is it mean?
Nowadays the main characteristic of ecological compatibility is formaldehyde emission. It is better to choose materials that correspond to E1 standard because they are more safe and may be used even in health care facilities and children’s institutions.
Particular attention to this issue is given in such European countries as Germany, Finland, Sweden. Exactly these countries developed such a standard and strict control over its implementation. Indicators are checked annually by German WKI institution.
How to protect yourself?
During the first 6 months an item loses about 50% of the formaldehyde it contained initially.

About 95% of all particle boards that are used by SoftForm are produced by Austrian concern EGGER.
EGGER Group produces a huge range of goods from high-quality flooring to modern building products. All this output is certified. This certificates contains information about production process, ecological data including all product-life cycle from execution to salvaging.
EDGE TAPE
Edge banding is a very important step of production process. In addition to its esthetic function, it has an ecological one because of its ability to keep harmful elements that may be contained in used materials.
ATTENTION: complete product must not have crude end.
Different edge tapes of different width are used by SoftForm while producing laminated particle boards.
Our materials:
Acrylnitril-butadien-styrol. The most important mechanical properties of ABS are impact resistance and toughness as well as thermostability, light and color fastness. ABS can be recycled or just burned without harmful emission.
Polyvinyl chloride. PVC has high hardness and mechanical properties, protect items from scratches, moisture etc.
Melamine edgebanding. This material was developed for softforming (a unique methodic of edgebanding).

THERMOPLAST Poland. This is a leading company in Eastern Europe that produces edge tapes, hinges etc. of different shapes and colors.

KNOBS AND HANDLES
Our suppliers:
GAMET Poland. This is a leading European company that produces handles. Its goods are famous not only in Europe, but also in Russia and the other CIS countries. Metal, wood, plastic, porcelain, acryl are used in production process. GAMET creates about 40 new types of handles annually and now its product range consists of 6,500 patterns.
VALMAKS Russia. High quality and competitive price are combined. Distinguish features of VALMARKS’ knobs and handles are design variety, durability and functionality.
POLIPLAST Italy. The best Italian design solutions are embodied in handles produced by this very company. Fresh ideas and new handles help to create modern and contemporary furniture.
DOOR HINGES
Quality of all hinges that are used in our production is proven with LGA European certificates.
We use accessories of high-quality only with the highest technical characteristics that depends on every specific example.

- tasted for 36 years daily usage
- self-closing hinges are also used.

METAL FRAMEWORKS
Frames produced by MILADESIGN are used in SoftForm tables production. MILADESIGN is a world known Polish manufacturer of high-quality metal goods.
Frames of different forms are used in our production. There are U-shaped that make tables look more contemporary. All the frames are painted with a powder method to avoid scratches and damage.
DRAWER SLIDERS
Roller drawer slides made of metal with roller bearing. Its characteristics:
- Drawers cannot be opened full
- Holds loads no more than 20kg
- Dynamic cycle tested to 50,000 cycles (about 10 years of using)
Wheels slides have better characteristics. For example, holds loads of 35kg. They are more useful and reliable.
Hidden wheels drawer slides are also used in our production. This type of slides makes furniture look more esthetic because it is impossible to see they even when the drawers are opened and you furniture looks ideally even inside.
