GLOSSY FRONT PANELS FOR BATHROOMS
Glossy finishings are becoming more and more popular in furniture production due to the fact that recent innovative technologies of front panel production allow to manufacture glossy surfaces with higher consumer qualities: high protection against steam and moisture, no swelling of panels and no edges flaking increase the service life of the product keeping its original look. The front panels have smooth, mirror-glossy surface, resistant to scratches and other insignificant damages.
Glossy front panels produced applying laser edgebanding technology deserve consideration and wide use for bathroom furniture, they meet all the requirements to the furniture for rooms with high humidity level. Additionally to the technical characteristics, glossy front panels have decorative function: as mirror surfaces, glossy front panels visually enlarge the space, create a feeling of lightness, cleanness. Gently reflecting light and surrounding objects, a bathroom becomes brighter and more spectacular.

JV "Softform» LLC creates a new standard of quality for glossy front panels - going with the times product with higher qualitative characteristics, that meets all the requirements of the modern consumer.
Equipment
The glossy front panels are being produced using the latest Novimat machine with the diode laser system LDM of IMA Klessmann GmbH (Germany) manufacture.
The new machine is designed for producing furniture parts with glueless cohesion of panel and edgeband, as well as for polishing of rounded edgeband facets. High strength of panel and edgeband cohesion allow to achieve high protection against steam and moisture and as a result – no swelling of panels and no edges flaking, solid and homogeneous look of furniture parts.
Laser edgebanding technology implements all recent innovative achievements in the field of edgebanding. This technology was developed by the German company IMA Klessmann GmbH – worldwide leading producer of edgebanding machines.
Production technology description.
The inner side of edgeband is covered with functional coating. A laser beam melts the functional layer of the edge and the edge is pressed directly onto the workpiece, the edge is «welded» into the panel.
The edges become glossy after being polished, that makes the front panel look integral. Innovative laser edgebanding technology guarantees homogeneous cohesion of panel and edges, ensures color identity, creating a flawless look of the front panel that produces effect of a lacquered item
Glueless laser edgebanding technology sets new standards of decorative look and basic properties of furniture front panels with higher consumer qualities.

Materials used for front panels production:
19 mm thick Polygloss, Acrylux, Acryline
Polygloss - this panel is made from already laminated MDF plate. The plate is covered with polygloss film that is glued to the panel with transparent high-resistant PUR-glue. Polygloss film is a 75 mk thick biaxial PET film (polyethylene terephthalate). Gloss degree > 80 gloss. Front side of the panel is non-hygroscopic and is rather thermostable: it stands 1400 С dry temperature and 1200 С at steam exposure!
Acrylux, Acryline - are MDF plates covered with high gloss acrylic plastic. The gloss surface of the material has extraordinary quality gloss degree > 90 gloss. The panels Acrylux and Acryline are non-hygroscopic and is rather thermostable: it stands 1000 С dry temperature and 850 С at steam exposure! Another advantage of Acrylux and Acryline is that these panels are ecofriendly: they don't contain heavy metal, cancerogenic components. The material can be recycled.
Gloss edges: 2mm thick PMMA, 1,5mm thick ABS of the leading German manufacturers.
