Roller drawer slides made of metal with roller bearing. Its characteristics:
- Drawers cannot be opened full
- Holds loads no more than 20kg

Wheels slides have better characteristics. For example, holds loads of 35kg. They are more useful and reliable.

Edging material (ABS, PVC, soft edging, acrylic PMMA edging, natural veneer edging) is designed for refinement, decoration and protection of open ends of chipboard and MDF from mechanical damage, swelling and excludes possible emission of harmful substances from board materials into the atmosphere.
Edge material can be matched to the decoration of the main surface or can be a contrasting decorative element of furniture.
In SOFTFORM furniture production edging materials of different thickness are used, made of the whole range of modern materials available and applied by means of different equipment.
ABS/ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) edging is an ecologically friendly, plastic, chlorine-free and non-electrifying edge material that is resistant to impact, thermal, light and color. It keeps its properties at the temperature from -50 to +80 degrees Celsius.
PVC (polyvinylchloride) edging is a durable, wear and moisture-resistant edging material. The PVC edging is a rigid material that retains its original appearance after several years of active use. It keeps its properties at the temperature from -10 to +50 degrees Celsius.
The trimming of the detail ends with ABS and PVC edges is made in special closed chambers by means of polymer hot-melt adhesive under pressure. Such technology of edging allows to get seamless and reliable connection of edging with material of furniture details.
Soft-edge - elastic melamine edge banding for facing of profile milled ends of a furniture part by softforming technology.
Plastic acrylic edge-edge PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) is a thermoplastic edge-material with 3D-effect of depth for decorative facing of end pieces of furniture. The drawing is applied on the back side of the edging and covered with a transparent polymer layer on top.
Edge facing with PMMA edgebanding is made by laser edgebanding with a zero seam. This method provides a high degree of edge adhesion and no visual transition from the part surface to the edge. The polymer layer protects the edge pattern from damage and is easily polished.
Natural veneer edging material is the thinnest pieces of planed veneer connected to each other by a toothed spike to form a tape. On the back side of the tape there is a protective layer of thermal fleece, which prevents breakage at bending. The front surface of the edging material is protected by a self-adhesive tape - it can be easily removed after tiling. The bending radius of natural veneer edging material depends on the wood used and cannot be less than 10-15 cm. The edges made of natural veneer are subject to finishing with varnish and paint materials. For the facing of the ends of the furniture details with the edge-material from natural veneer the hot method of pressing is used.

Fixing (connecting) fittings are hidden from sight and are used to connect furniture parts in the product (ties of different kinds, shelf holders), to attach and fix the product to any surface (hinge, dowel, guide, holder and others) and carries a functional and physical load.
For the production of connecting fittings different materials are used: metal and its alloys, wood, plastic, rubber, etc.
Connecting fittings should be easy to install, be able to withstand repeated assembly / disassembly and meet such requirements as safety, reliability and durability. Fixing fittings should not emit any extraneous noise when loaded.

Front fittings are always in view, they are placed on the outer surfaces of the furniture (fronts), on the wall or on the floor, are subjected to static and dynamic loading and perform a decorative function. To the front fittings include furniture handles, decorative legs, wall hooks, brackets for shelves, partition holders, etc.
Face fittings can be made entirely of one material or in combination with other materials: metal, plastic, ceramic, glass, natural wood, fabric, leather, stone and others.
To create a unique face accessories used a variety of methods of decoration: inlaying, chroming, brushing, tauchery (inlaying metal with another metal), engraving, etching, enamel coating, colored anodizing (for aluminum and titanium) and others.

The rails support the drawer in the product, allow it to move forward and backward in the same plane and hold the drawer open when it is fully loaded.
The right choice of rails affects the consumer qualities of the furniture. Easy access to contents, quiet drawer running on the runners, safety, durability and long life of the runners and no malfunctions are important factors for a pleasant environment.
SOFTFORM uses various types of slides in the furniture industry depending on the function and status of the furniture.
Roller guides are two rails with two rubber-coated rollers. Drawers on roller guides do not extend all the way out and do not obstruct the space when fully extended. They are suitable for small drawers and can cope with loads of up to 20 kg.
A door closer ensures smooth closing. The closing mechanism is designed for 50,000 cycles of opening / closing, which amounts to at least 10 years of operation. Rubberized silent rollers make it easy and quiet to slide the drawer on the rails.
Ball slides are metal profiles (rail and carriage moving on the rail) and rolling balls to facilitate the movement of the carriage on the rail. Full-extension ball slides provide 100% access to drawer contents and are designed for loads up to 35 kg. Full-extension ball slides are reliable and durable, and no extra effort is required to move the drawer on these slides.
Telescopic runners are full-extension ball-bearing runners for concealed installation. All elements of the telescopic running gear are concealed from view, as no metal or plastic parts are visible on the drawer when it is opened. These runners have a carrying capacity of up to 25 kg.

Laminated chipboard (chipboard) is a construction material made by hot pressing of wood chips (shavings) and binder resins, and lined with a resin-impregnated decorative paper.
The level of environmental safety of particleboard is determined by the formaldehyde emission class (emitted into the air in mg per 100 g of dry board per unit time). The emission class is marked by the letter E and one of the numbers 0, 0.5, 1 or 2. The lower the number, the less free formaldehyde is emitted.
Emission class E1 corresponds to an indicator up to 8mg formaldehyde per 100g dry weight, E0.5 - up to 5mg per 100g dry weight. In the EEU and EU countries it is permitted to use particleboard of E1 emission class as a safe level for furniture, including for children's furniture.
The use of particleboard of E0.5 and E0 emission class for furniture may be a voluntary decision of the manufacturer, a condition of the trade organization (the buyer) or a legal restriction of the buyer's country in relation to the emission class of particleboard and furniture made of it.

The metal furniture frame is a collapsible structure consisting of metal elements - frames (supports), connected to each other by beams (traverses) by means of fasteners.
